New leadership for Volvo in Canada

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Volvo Trucks has hired a new executive for its Canadian operations.

Greig Howlett, who was formerly director of sales at Mack Trucks Inc., has been named asGreig Howlett-Volvo vice-president, Canada region, and will succeed Brent Weary, who is retiring after more than 17 years with Volvo Trucks. Howlett will be responsible for overseeing the company’s commercial sales and marketing operations in this country and will be based in the Mississauga, Ont. office.

“Greig has a strong record of success in a variety of management positions within the heavy-duty trucking industry and I’m pleased to welcome him to this new role,” said Göran Nyberg, president, Volvo Trucks North American sales and marketing.
