MONCTON, N.B. — Workers from Industrial Cold Milling Ltd. installed rumble strips yesterday on the accident-plagued off-ramp from the westbound Mackay Highway onto Rothesay Avenue.

The exit now has three sets of 10 rumble strips that will be about 40 meters apart.

The Department of Transportation supervised the job. Over the past few years, there has been an average of two serious accidents per week at this interchange with the Mackay Highway located at the end of Rothesay Avenue.
