New twist for old display at Truxpo

ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — The British Columbia Trucking Association is welcoming member companies to display antique trucks that they own as part of the Truxpo 2006 antique display.

Each show hosted and organized by the BCTA features an antique display with the outside exhibits in the back of Tradex Centre. In the past, Truxpo has displayed antique trucks from a local club.

There will be no charge for displaying antique company trucks; however, members will be responsible for transportation of their vehicles to and from Tradex Centre. The antique display area will be located outside the building and will be uncovered. The area will be fenced for security and will have security surveillance each evening.

The display area will be open during Western Canada’s largest truck, trailer and equipment from Sept. 28 to 30. More than one vehicle per company will be permitted if space allows. For more information, contact the BCTA at 1-800-565-2282.
