New vehicle restraint is the Rite Hite
Rite-Hite
The new VBR-300 DOK-LOK vehicle restraint from Rite-Hite helps safely and reliably secure trailers at the dock to protect against early departure, trailer creep and dock walk.
Its design results in high reliability and low maintenance, for productive, long-term performance, according to the company. Similar to original DOK-LOK restraints, the VBR-300 restrains the trailer by engaging the trailer’s Rear Impact Guard.
Mechanical springs provide superior upward force and constant tension, allowing the unit to maintain safe, consistent contact with the guard as trailer bed height fluctuates during loading and unloading. This feature is especially important when servicing air-ride trailers, where bed deflection can be extreme.
