Nova Scotia-to-Nfld Ferry Looking at Accepting Reservations

CHARLOTTETOWN – – Marine Atlantic is considering reinstating the reservation system for traffic traveling between North Sydney, NS. and Port Aux Basques, Nfld.

The executive director of the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association (APTA) Jean-Marc Picard told members of the proposed changes at the APTA’s 63rd annual conference in Charlottetown Wednesday morning.

“Marine Atlantic has advised that they will be conducting stakeholder meetings in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador to discuss the reinstatement of the commercial reservations system.

“The exact locations with dates and times will be available soon.”
