NY highway cops out in full force this week
NEW YORK – Truckers traveling through New York this weekend should mind the net highway cops have laid out this week to nab over-enthusiastic NASCAR fans traveling to Watkins Glen International Raceway.
Every available NY state trooper will be out in full force for “Speed Week” — drivers through Aug. 14.
The highway enforcement campaign coincides with a NASCAR race on Sunday.
