WELLAND, Ont. – The Owner-Operators’ Business Association of Canada recently announced that Hank Rensink, the Truck News 2002 Owner/Operator of the year, has agreed to join the Board of Directors.

Rensink, of St. Catharines, Ont., has been an owner/operator for 28 years and is a past winner of the North American Van Lines Electronics Division owner/operator of the year award. He has an abiding interest in improving the working conditions of owner/operators across Canada.

When he learned of his appointment to the Board-of-Directors he remarked that he was initially apprehensive but felt that he had a great deal of experience which he trusted would be of use in the many issues which OBAC was preparing to tackle.

Dave Marson, president of OBAC, says he is pleased to have Rensink on the Board of Directors and looks forward to working with him.
