OBAC offering free seminars on fuel-efficient driving

MONCTON, N.B. — The Owner-Operator Business Association of Canada (OBAC) is hosting a series of free seminars on fuel-efficient driving.

The seminars will be held: March 26, 9 a.m.-noon, SLH Transport, 245 MacNaugton Drive, Caledonia Industrial Park, Moncton, N.B.; March 27, 1-4 p.m., 184 Arthur St., Halliday Building, Truro, N.S.; and March 28, 9 a.m.-noon, Farm Centre, 420 University Ave., Charlottetown, PEI.

The Driving for Dollars seminars are open to owner/operators, company drivers, fleet owners and others who are looking for ways to improve their fuel economy. The teachings are based on NRCan’s Smart Drive for Highway Trucking training program and are presented by Jim Park, technical and regulatory advisor with OBAC.
