TORONTO, Ont. — The countdown is on with less than two weeks left until the Truck News/Chevron Charity Golf Tournament and only four foursomes left to be snatched up.

The fourth annual tournament, held at the revered Wooden Sticks Golf Club in Uxbridge, Ont. June 16, promises to be a fantastic day for golf and will also provide the opportunity to rub shoulders with the ‘who’s who’ of the trucking industry.

Trucknews.com’s WebTV show, Transportation Matters, will also be there shooting an episode, so save your best shots for when the camera crew comes by!

With a driving range, pre-game C.P.G.A. clinic and swing analysis, beat the pro challenge, putting contest, prize holes and a fantastic lunch and dinner menu, you’ll be getting your money’s worth and more at this year’s event.

You’ll also be doing something great for five-year-old Cole, a cancer survivor, since all proceeds from the day’s events will be going towards making his wish come true.

Trucking for Wishes, the brainchild of NAL Insurance’s Aaron Lindsay, and the Make-a-Wish Foundation are the charities of choice for this year’s event, with the monies raised helping to send Cole on a Disney Cruise.

If you can’t make it on June 16, there are still some sponsorship opportunities available and/or we would welcome a prize donation.

So sign up as soon as you can and make Cole’s dream come true!
