Ontario IRP offices still closed except for one

TORONTO, Ont. — Due to the recent power outage across Ontario, all IRP Offices except for the office in Downsview, TO. remain closed.

The IRP office, located at 1202 Wilson Ave., will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily in an effort to provide emergency IRP services. Emergency services will be available via telephone, fax, courier and in person. Services include:

* Initial IRP registration (New Fleets)
* Additions to existing fleets
* Plate, permit and cab card replacements

The IRP Program Office should be contacted for instructions prior to attending in person.

IRP stands for International Registration Plan, the commercial vehicle licensing arrangement, which collects and distributes truck registration fees for the U.S. and Canada.
