ST. CATHARINES, Ont. — Ontario has issued several notices to carriers regarding load brokers recently forfeiting their provincially required surety bonds.

1457345 Ontario Inc. (also known as P.B. Systems), Zircon Logistics and Future Logistics have all run into trouble, which will cause problems for the fleets hauling their freight.

Any person having claim arising out of a load brokerage service against the above companies, who carried on business in Ontario, is required to file a claim together with a copy of a court judgement with the deputy registrar of motor vehicles on or before Dec. 20, at: Ministry of Transportation, Attn: Louis Janetos, 301 St. Paul Street, 3rd floor, ST. Cathatines, Ont. L2R 7R4.

In cases where the dollar value of the payable claims exceed the dollar value of the forfeited bond ($10,000), the payment will be made on a pro rata basis.

For more information, contact Louis Janetos at 905-704-2534.
