Orange EV says it has now deployed electric yard trucks to more than 300 fleets across the U.S. and Canada, a milestone it claims exceeds the deployments of all other heavy-duty electric truck manufacturers.

The company attributes this growth to its fully integrated offering that includes electric trucks, charging stations, and on-site service and support.

“Going electric doesn’t have to be hard,” said Zack Ruderman, vice-president of sales and marketing at Orange EV, in a news release. “Our turnkey solution eliminates the complexity that stalls so many electrification efforts. We handle the trucks, chargers, and service, freeing our customers to stay focused on their core operations.”

Orange EV yard trucks are currently in use at distribution centers, manufacturing plants, and ports operating in multi-shift, year-round environments — including extreme weather conditions, the company said. The electric trucks have collectively logged more than 21.5 million miles and 8 million operating hours.

The company’s model includes customized charging infrastructure designed to match site-specific duty cycles, and on-site support aimed at maximizing uptime. It offers purchase, lease, and rental options to give fleets flexibility based on budget and seasonal or operational needs.
