TORONTO, Ont. — The Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) and Bridgestone are now accepting nominations for the 2012 Bridgestone Ontario Trucking Association Truck Hero Award. To be eligible for the award, nominees must be Ontario truck drivers, employed full-time by an Ontario-based trucking company. The incident to be recognized must have taken place in North America between Jan. 1, 2011 and Sept. 30, 2012. All nominations are due by Oct. 15.

The Bridgestone Ontario Trucking Association Truck Hero Award will be presented at OTA’s annual convention which takes place in Toronto in November.
