OTA offers hiring/firing seminar

TORONTO, Ont. — The Ontario Trucking Association will be hosting seminar entitled “Take the risk out of hiring and firing,” Tuesday, Oct. 19.

The seminar will be held at the OTA’s head office at 555 Dixon Rd. in Toronto, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is open to both OTA members and non-members (registration costs less for members).

Deb Douma, an experienced human resource professional and lawyer, will lead this hands-on seminar, providing you with practical information you can use in your workplace. Class size will be limited to 15 participants to provide a more effective learning experience for all, so early registration is recommended.
