TORONTO, Ont. — The OTA will appear before the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs at Queen’s Park at 9:20 a.m. tomorrow.

Ontario Trucking Association president David Bradley will tell the committee how Ontarios prospects for economic growth and prosperity are vulnerable and will remain so until inefficiencies at the border and the competitiveness of Ontario exports in the U.S. market are addressed.

In the 2004 budget, OTA is expecting to see:

X Investment in Strategic Highway Infrastructure (i.e. border investment in Windsor);

X Harmonization with the Federal Goods & Services Tax (GST).
