PacLease increases western presence

BELLEVUE, Wash. — PACCAR’s leasing arm – PacLease – is continuing its expansion with 25 new locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Of the 25 new locations, seven will be in Canada. Six of those are in B.C., with one new location in the Yukon.

The new locations will bring PacLease’s total count up over 400, with locations spread across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Germany.

The company expects the new locations to position the company for further growth.

"Even during uncertain economic times, companies continue to turn to full-service leasing for the benefits of off-balance sheet financing and having their trucks cared for by experienced technicians," said PacLease president Bob Southern said. "Based on historical data, we know that the truck leasing market typically expands at a faster rate than the rest of the industry during strong truck buying markets."

According to Southern, customers can custom spec medium-duty, heavy-duty, and even hybrid trucks, under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates.

The new locations in Canada are: Campbell River, B.C., Fort St. John, B.C., Houston, B.C., Quesnel, B.C., Terrace, B.C., Williams Lake, B.C., and Whitehorse, Yukon.
