PEI fleets invited to fuel-saving workshop tomorrow

SUMMERSIDE, PEI — Prince Edward Island fleets are invited to a Fuel Management Workshop and Technology Showcase tomorrow, where fleet managers will share insights on various ways to reduce fuel consumption and reduce emissions.

 

The event, which will run from 9 a.m. til 3:15 p.m. at Credit Union Place, is being hosted by the PEI Trucking Sector Council and the Bedeque Bay Environmental Management Association. Cost to attend is $25.

 

The workshop will include a full day of panel discussions and presentations from fleet managers on various ways to reduce fuel consumption. They’ll discuss equipment, accessories and training that will impact the bottom line, according to organizers.

 

There will also be indoor and outdoor displays featuring fuel-saving equipment.
