PeopleNet boosts presence in eastern Canada

BURLINGTON, Ont. — Onboard truck communications supplier PeopleNet announced a major effort to serve French speaking markets in North America, including a French version of PeopleNet BLU and the appointment of Richard Budzyn as an account manager.

PeopleNet CEO Ron Konezny and Jamie Williams, president of PeopleNet Canada, announced that PeopleNet BLU, the company’s new onboard platform recently is now available in a French. They also said an effort is under way to translate documents and adapt intuitive PeopleNet functionality for easy use by French speaking drivers and fleet operators.

At the same time, Williams said that Richard Budzyn has joined PeopleNet Canada. Budzyn, who is bi-lingual, will serve PeopleNet accounts in Quebec and the Atlantic provinces.

Budzyn comes to PeopleNet Canada after 13 years with Shaw Tracking, which represents Qualcomm products and services in Canada. He has worked for more than 15 years with major truckload and LTL companies as well as specialized installation and commodity carriers.
