MINNEAPOLIS — Onboard communications systems provider PeopleNet has named Ron Konezny chief executive officer. John Sarto, the company’s current CEO and chairman, will remain chairman of the board of directors.

Konezny has been with the company since its founding in 1994 and is currently chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

The company says Konezny has been a key contributor to helping the company achieve 18 consecutive quarters of record growth. In addition, he led the delivery of many industry innovation firsts in his initial role of chief technology officer.
