MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — PeopleNet, a provider of onboard computing and mobile communications system, has named Brian McLaughlin executive vice-president of marketing, product and sales, and Mike Goergen executive vice-president and chief financial officer. The promotions follow the appointment of Ron Konezny as PeopleNet CEO in July.

McLaughlin has been with PeopleNet since 2001 and had been vice-president of marketing and product planning. In addition to his marketing and product planning duties, he will manage all of the company’s sales efforts in the US and Canada. He currently serves the industry in many capacities including key roles within the American Trucking Associations Technology and Maintenance Council and the National Private Truck Council.

Goergen has been with PeopleNet since 1997 when he joined as controller and most recently served as vice-president of finance. He currently leads all international finance and accounting activities across PeopleNet.

“I am proud to promote two of our finest talents to these executive positions” Konezny said. “Their dedication to helping our customers succeed combined with their history of success earned each of them this well deserved advancement.”
