PeopleNet site goes back to school

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — A website from PeopleNet was launched recently and will provide new educational resources aimed at helping carriers manage their operations more efficiently.

The additions to the new website include: case studies about how specific companies use different technologies to automate processes and minimize cost drivers, white papers about current topics impacting the industry, archives of the company’s online educational events, and information about new CSA 2010 and EOBR regulations.

“Our enhanced site fills a need created by a dearth of impartial educational information on websites of other technology providers for the industry,” said PeopleNet’s COO Brian McLaughlin. “A smart market provides greater opportunity for all providers.”

PeopleNet is also extending its focus on education with its 2010 user conference –“Fleet Performance All the Way”—slated for Aug. 9-11 in Boca Raton, Fla. Governor Graves, President and CEO of the American Trucking Association, will be the keynote speaker for the event, which is open to current PeopleNet customers.

Among the topics on the event’s agenda are sessions on compliance with safety, HOS and reporting, EOBR and CSA 2010 regulatory changes, automated workflow, driver management, ROI, and MPG improvement.
