DENTON, Texas — Peterbilt is taking its new Model 579 on tour in what it’s calling the Legend Continues Tour.

The 40-plus dealer tour will include two stops in Canada. On July 26, Stahl Peterbilt in Edmonton will host the road show and on Sept. 26, Peterbilt Ontario Truck Centres in Mississauga will welcome the tour.

“This tour is designed to showcase the new Model 579 as well as share the excitement with our customers and dealers,” said Bill Kozek, Peterbilt general manager and Paccar vice-president. “The 579 is the most innovative vehicle in Peterbilt’s history, providing our customers the highest quality product, with superior aerodynamics, unmatched comfort and exceptional reliability.”

The tour kicks off in June and continues through November. It features a Peterbilt Model 579 pulling an interactive 53-ft. trailer with more than 1,000 sq.-ft. of display space.
