DENTON, Tex. (Mar. 2, 2005) – The Peterbilt dealer network has reached a record level with 222 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada, Peterbilt Motors says.

The truckmaker added seven locations in 2004 and there will be continued expansion in the years to come, said Dan Sobic, Peterbilt general manager and PACCAR vice-president.

Of the seven locations added in 2004, five are full service and two are parts stores.

Many of the facilities were Canadian, including Peterbilt Pacific in Abbotsford, B.C.; JDH Peterbilt du Lac St-Jean in St-Felicien, Que.; Peterbilt Red Deer in Red Deer, Alta.; Peterbilt of Waterloo in Ayr, Ont. Standard Peterbilt-O’Hare, a location in Des Plaines, Ill. Was also opened.

The parts stores opened were Peterbilt of Wroxeter in Wroxeter, Ont.; and Peterbilt of Bismark in Bismarck, N.D.

Peterbilt Pacific and JDH Peterbilt du Lac St-Jean are completely new facilities, while Peterbilt Red Deer opened an entirely renovated facility.
