EDMONTON, Alta. Excitement is buzzing at Stahl Peterbilt’s new Edmonton location as Dan Sobic, general manager of Peterbilt Motors Company, is scheduled to cut the ribbon and officially open the location May 5.

“(A) visit from the top VIP within the Peterbilt Motors Company is a noteworthy event and an honour,” said Ed Stahl, president, Stahl Peterbilt.

Stahl Peterbilt’s Edmonton location was recently presented with the Best in Class 2005 Dealer of the Year Award, a prestigious award which Stahl attributes to the staff’s dedication to quality and customer service. The Stahl family will also be using the ribbon cutting ceremony to give back to the community, by presenting a cheque for $25,000 to the Western Guide and Assistance Dog Socity.

“We have taken great care to make this event an occasion to remember,” said Eddy Stahl, vice-president, operations. “The level of excitement is growing for the open house. From the fun activities, entertainment and outstanding food to the numerous prizes and giveaways, we are poised to give our customers an amazing event.”

The ribbon cutting, planned solely for media, staff and dignitaries is scheduled May 5 at 2:30 p.m. The grand opening is open to the public and is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. May 6.
