TORONTO, Ont. — Petro-Canada has launched Three-In-One Protection PRECISION Grease, a line of high-performance multi-application greases for better equipment performance in three essential areas – improved resistance to water wash out, longer life under extreme conditions and superior shearing protection.
PRECISION Grease with Three-In-One Protection is available in EP1, EP2 and GOLD grades.
In National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI) High Temperature and Bearing Life Performance Tests, this product also proved to last two to three times longer than several leading, competitive, premium, multi-application products. It is one of the few greases whose performance surpassed the NLGI’s minimum requirements for the GC-LB rating.
"Companies are pushing their equipment to work harder, faster, and hotter but conventional greases are not keeping pace with increased performance demands," said Colleen Flanagan, Category Manager, Petro-Canada. "We have responded to our customers’ needs with the PRECISION line of multi-application greases with Three-In-One Protection that last longer, extend equipment life, reduce downtime, improve productivity, and ultimately, saves them money."
PRECISION Grease starts with the patented HT purity process Petro-Canada uses to produce 99.9 per cent pure, crystal-clear base oil, the purest in the world. By removing the impurities that hinder the performance of conventional oils and blending in specialty additives with carefully selected oils, PRECISION Grease delivers maximum performance.
PRECISION EP1, EP2 and GOLD Greases are suitable for use in fleet, forestry, general manufacturing, farming, mining, and construction industries. PRECISION EP1 is ideally suited for centralized lubrication systems serving both heavy duty and general purpose bearings. PRECISION EP2 is a stiffer grease and provides excellent wear protection in wet environments. PRECISION GOLD provides superior performance at extreme temperatures.
