Pin Release
Tuthill Transport Technology’s new ReycoGranning Pneumatic Pin Release eliminates the need to manually pull slider pins — a dirty job in the best of weather. A pneumatic controller releases the pins with the push of a button. As a safety precaution, the parking brakes must be engaged first; the pins lock into place when the parking brakes are released to prevent the driver from driving away with a loose slider. The unit is available on 86AR-RS1015/RS1035 and 19AR-RS1062 air-ride/slider designs, and will be made compatible with other slider systems in the future, the company says.
