MISSISSAUGA, Ont. (May 27, 2005) — You got to hand it to those private fleet guys, they know where to talk shop.

The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) announced a return to White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake for its 2005 Annual General Meeting and Conference on June 16 & 17.

“This will be the third successive year that our members have endorsed returning to the White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa and anyone who has been there will understand why. It’s a wonderful venue for a conference like ours,” said Bruce Richards, president, Private Motor Truck Council of Canada.

Now, it’s not all fun and games. The PMTC has an excellent line up of educational seminars for fleet managers and execs of Canada’s private trucking sector.

Seminars include: How to Handle Accidents; Performance Management tools for fleets; and an informative regulatory update by the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators.

Also, there’s the PMTC’s favourite labour lawyer Chris Andree to talk about labour and employment law. And a seminar in which suppliers and top-notch fleet managers explain how to control vehicle costs.

Attendees can register online at PMTC’s website or call 1-877-501-PMTC
