TORONTO, Ont. — Kinedyne Canada has announced the appointment of general manager Larry Harrison, to the newly created position of president, which will take effect immediately.

Larry Harrison joined Kinedyne Canada in 2001 as the general manager after working in radio and television broadcasting.

Since that time he has successfully led the company to double-digit growth year after year and launched several comprehensive product lines including Grip Link tire chains and Steadymate, a premium line of tie downs for the recreational vehicle market.

“I’m honoured to assume a bigger role in the company and I’m excited about the possibilities that lie ahead for Kinedyne Canada,” said Larry Harrison. “I would like to further position the company for growth, continue profitability across all markets, and launch the Steadymate line across North America.”

Under Harrison’s direction, Kinedyne Canada relocated to a larger location last year and expanded variations of the product line into new retail arenas.

“Larry has already achieved extraordinary results for the company as general manager and we are extremely pleased to have him accept the position of president,” said Jim Klausmann, president of Kinedyne Corporation. “He will continue to play a key role in the company by bringing an exceptional level of knowledge and experience to the cargo-control industry.”
