ProStar, LoneStar to feature Bendix braking system
LISLE, IL – International Truck will offer the new Bendix next generation ‘active safety’ system on its ProStar sleeper models, ProStar daycabs, and LoneStar models.
The braking system merges three component technologies – camera, radar and brakes.
Bill Kozek, Navistar president, Truck and Parts, said it is an example of International Truck bringing industry-leading solutions to market quickly.
“Our unique relationship with Bendix offers our customers new options that enhance driver and vehicle safety, improve uptime and increase productivity,” he said.
Additional announcements from both companies will be made at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky, March 26-28, 2015.
