TORONTO, Ont. — Purolator Courier has been named one of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures, in the 2007 Corporate Culture Study conducted by Waterstone Human Capital.

Business leaders across the country nominate company’s that boast a strong corporate culture enjoyed by employees and customers. Organizers say Purolator was a winner based on its commitment to open communication, its healthy workplace, its support of employee development, and its commitment to respect for both customers and employees.

“To be regarded as one of Canada’s 10 most admired corporate cultures is an honour,” said Robert Johnson, president and CEO of Purolator. “The Purolator team is extremely proud of this achievement as it demonstrates our employees’ commitment and dedication to making Purolator the success it is today.”

The five criteria the reward is based one include: vision and leadership; cultural alignment, measurement and sustainability; rewards, recognition and innovative business achievement; corporate performance; and corporate social responsibility.

The award program administrator, Waterstone Human Capital, polled 185 senior executives from Canada’s largest 1,000 companies to determine the winners.
