Rates slip despite truck-to-load ratio increase: DAT

PORTLAND, OR – According to DAT Solutions, last week’s load-to-truck ratios increased for reefers and flatbeds, with flatbeds continuing a six week climb. However, rates didn’t reflect the increase in the truck-to-load ratio as the national average van rate dropped three cents per mile, with both reefer and flatbed rates slipping one cent per mile.
