Raydan Ontario granted national safety mark

EDMONTON — Raydan Manufacturing says its Raydan Manufacturing Ontario division has achieved NSM registration with Transport Canada.

Raydan Manufacturing Ontario is now registered for Final Stage-body and equipment, Final Stage-GAWR/GVWR increase, Final Stage-wheelbase alterations, Intermediate Stage-body and equipment and Intermediate Stage-GAWR/GVWR increase.

“We are pleased to have achieved NSM registration,” commented Brian Ahrens, director of operations. “Under our Sturdy Truck Body division, we are now one of a very small, select group recognized by Transport Canada, offering design, manufacturing, and body installation with an added axle from a single location.”

Ray English, president and CEO of Raydan Manufacturing says he’s pleased the Ontario facility achieved the certification. “Ontario has the largest concentration of class 8 vocational trucks in Canada and Raydan is now prepared to meet their modification demands. Raydan’s focus has been the vocational truck marketplace for a number of years and we are excited to be in the epicenter of the industry,” he said.
