RCMP: Trans-Canada may be closed in N.B. due to flooding

MONCTON, N.B. — The Trans-Canada Hwy. between Fredericton and Moncton may be closed due to flooding, the RCMP there have warned.

It’s feared rising floodwater could reach the highway by as early as Saturday morning, according to the Globe and Mail. An alternate route is being planned, which could see traffic directed through Saint John.
