Combining components from two high-performance series of units, Thermo King’s new Super II-190 trailer refrigeration unit is designed to let food distribution and grocery companies select the features most important to them.

Well suited for regional food distributors and grocers who regularly haul produce or non-frozen products, the Super II-190 offers noise reduction and fuel efficiency. The Whisper engine features changes to the exhaust and intake system, along with added gaskets and acoustic foam, allowing customers with city deliveries to comply with local noise ordinances. The additional optional throttling valve reduces the load on the compressor engine, resulting in 5 to 15 percent greater fuel efficiency, according to Thermo King.

Featuring an aluminum frame, the low-weight Super II-190 shares the proven array of components, with added benefits.Chief among these are the se 2.2 engine, X430L reciprocating compressor, MP-VI smart reefer controller with Optiset, and silicone coolant hoses.
