Rescue truck tender awarded

RIVERVIEW, N.B. — The contract for a new rescue truck for the Riverview Fire Department was awarded this week to Lantz Truck Bodies of Port William, N.S.

Ward 1 Coun. Gordon Cowan, says Lantz’ bid of $215,763 was the lower of two tenders submitted.

The other bid was made by Metalfab Limited of Centreville, about 16 kilometres (10 miles) west of Florenceville.
