SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Ridewell Suspensions has tapped John E. Millsap to serve as company president.

Millsap has been vice-president for the past four years and has been with Ridewell nearly 14 years.

He replaces John E. Raidel II who remains CEO. Millsap is only the third president to serve during Ridewell’s 41 years in the suspension business.

“It’s a great honour for me to serve as president. Ridewell is a very successful company and you don’t have to look any farther than the people who work here to see why this company has prospered,” Millsap said. “We will keep the same philosophy that has gotten us this far and that is to listen to our customers. They tell you if you’re doing things right or if you need to change directions.”

Millsap has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo.

Ridewell engineers and manufactures suspension systems for the truck, trailer and bus industries. The company has served the transportation industry since 1967, holding more than 30 active patents for features designed to provide low maintenance and superior ride quality.
