The mechanical engineer will work primarily with auxiliary axle suspensions, the company announced. Koontz has over 10 years of design experience with a background in designing tank components as well as tools for improving production metrics.

“My enthusiasm for working at Ridewell has only been strengthened by my initial days with the company, and I look forward to contributing to future successes at Ridewell,” said Koontz.

“Matthew is a team player with great skills, and I am confident we made the right decision by adding him to the engineering team,” added director of engineering, Bruce Barton.
