Ritchie Bros. Schedules 3 Big Canadian Auctions

TORONTO, ON – Industrial auction company Ritchie Bros, will have more than 2,100 trucks and related equipment items up for bid a little later this month at a single event, but if you can’t make it, there are two others also set for Canada in December.

An unreserved public auction is set for Toronto, Dec. 7 – 8 that includes more than 190 truck tractors, 165 trailers, 60 van trucks, 75 compactors, 60 excavators, 30 skid steer loaders, 25 wheel loaders, 110 scissor lifts, 45 boom lifts, 20 tractors and more.

All items will be sold to the highest bidders, without minimum bids or reserve prices. Bids can be placed in person, online at rbauction.com and by proxy.

Ritchie Bros. will also hold unreserved auctions in Montreal, QC and Truro, NS. One is before the Toronto event and the other afterwards.

“Our last Toronto auction of 2015 features one of the nicest selections of trucks and trailers we’ve ever sold in Ontario,” said Anna Sgro, senior vice president, Canada east, Ritchie Bros. “We also have a great selection of construction, lifting and material handling equipment and more. Interested bidders can find detailed equipment information on our website, and can visit our Toronto auction site in Bolton to personally test and inspect the trucks and equipment that will be sold.”

Equipment will be sold for more than 390 owners, including a selection of late-model truck tractors and trailers for Toronto-based TBG Environmental Inc., in operation since 1997, according to Ritchie Bros.

“The trucks we’re selling were purchased from Ritchie Bros. just last year and the trailers were purchased brand new. Both were used for just one contract, which end Dec. 1, so we won’t need them anymore. They are well-maintained and ready to go to work for new owners,” said Mark Bradley, CEO of TBG Environmental.

Ritchie Bros.’ Toronto auction site is located at 3 Manchester Court in Bolton.

On Dec. 2-3, Ritchie Bros. will conduct an unreserved public auction at its auction site in Montreal, QC. More than 2,350 equipment items and trucks will be sold including more than 90 scissor lifts, 45 boom lifts, 45 excavators, 35 wheel loaders, 25 compactors, 40 van trucks, 25 dump trucks, 190 trailers, 115 truck tractors, and more. There is more information on the auction website.

On Dec. 15, Ritchie Bros. will hold an auction at its site in Truro, NS. The auction already features at least 460 equipment items, with more items being added right up until sale day. More details are available on the auction website.
