NORTH BATTLEFORD, Sask. — Over 3,000 vehicles travel the western section of Yellowhead Highway (Hwy. 16) every day, and will now enjoy the completed twinned section that runs through Lashburn.

Transport Minister, David Collenette, and Saskatchewan Minister of Highways and Transportation, Mark Wartman, announced the completion of this project, along with the completion of the bridge construction in North Battleford.

Both projects were funded under the Strategic Highway Infrastructure Program (SHIP), and will help improve traffic flow and strengthen Saskatchewan’s highway system.
