YARMOUTH, N.S. — Drivers in both Yarmouth County and Cumberland County will be cruising over fresh blacktop later this year.
A $1.2-million contract has been awarded to pave sections of Hardscratch and Greenville roads in Yarmouth County and a $1.1-million contract has just been awarded to repave six kilometres of Highway 104.
“The province is continuing its commitment to improve roads and bridges in Nova Scotia,” says Michael Baker, Minister of Transportation and Public Works.
Both contracts, awarded to Dexter Construction Ltd., are expected to begin this spring and will be complete by the end of August.
