Roadranger Marketing has published an updated four-disk CD set that neatly packages more than 1000 product and service documents from Dana and Eaton, providing customers with a comprehensive Roadranger system and service product library. The Roadranger CD library provides easy access to materials without having to wait for items to be printed and shipped or for potentially long download times depending upon Internet connection speeds. The CD library provides sales, service, and parts literature for the entire Roadranger drivetrain including Fuller transmissions and clutches; Spicer axles, driveshafts, and tire-pressure management systems; Bendix brand foundation brakes, VORAD collision warning systems; Eaton hybrid electric power systems; Roadranger Lube; and Roadranger warranty and aftermarket literature. The set includes basic fundamentals, driver training, lubrication tips, troubleshooting guidelines, illustrated parts lists, warranty information, and much more. In addition, the library contains literature that has been translated into French (and Spanish). The Roadranger product library CD, publication number TCMT0100, costs US$30 and may be easily ordered by calling 1-888-386-4636. Nearly all documents on the set are available in Adobe Acrobat pdf files, with complete manuals or individual pages available for quick printing and easy reference. It’s good value, considering that more than 100 service manuals are included on the set and a printed service manual has an average cost of $20. The documents on the CD can be also downloaded for free on www.roadranger.com, though the CD set may be preferred by those without a high-speed internet connection.
