Robert Transport wins safest fleet in its class for 2005

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — Robert Transport has been awarded first prize for the safest fleet in the category of 50 million miles and more for 2005, bettering its second place finish in 2004.

“Security is part of our family company’s culture,” said a Robert representative. “The professionalism of our drivers and the quality of work of our mechanics supported by our trainers in prevention show Robert Transport’s commitment towards the security and prevention that permits to preserve the integrity of the client’s merchandise.”

Officials say the company’s 2,300 employees are very proud of the honour. Robert Transport travels more than 95 million miles annually with its 1,200 tractors across Canada and U.S.
