Rocker switches electronic, not electrical, signals
Cole Hersee Co.
Cole Hersee has introduced its innovative Digital Signal Rocker (DSRockerTM) Switch for trucking applications. The company says it’s the first rocker switch designed from ground up to meet current electronic circuitry specifications and while it looks and feels just like a standard rocker switch to vehicle operators, the switch works with any proprietary digital databus system in order to operate any kind of electrical equipment. The rugged weather-resistant switch tests to over one million on-off cycles, and is configurable in a wide variety of switching options: SPST, DPST, SPDT, DPDT, momentary continuous, with pilot lights (dependent or independent) or illuminated symbols/text.
The product also complies with existing and proposed microprocessor-based electrical/electronic systems such as SAE 11587, 11708 or 11939.
