Rocky Mountain Truck Show postponed

EDMONTON, Alta. — The first Rocky Mountain Truck Show is being rescheduled for 2009.

Newcom Business Media says it requires more time to set up the first show, which will be expanded to include a broader range of vehicles and equipment.

The next show must also attempt to address the serious recruitment issues that pre-occupy the trucking industry in Alberta, as well as attracting vocational market buyers who historically have not attended truck shows in significant numbers, Newcom Business Media said in a release.

The decision to postpone the first Rocky Mountain Truck Show stems from discussions with industry stakeholders, the company announced. For more information about the show, call 416-614-5812 or 877-682-7469.
