Rand McNally’s new Internet-based fleet management tool lets you set a route based on the lowest fuel prices. Online Fuel Advice is a subscription-based ASP (application service provider) jointly developed by Rand McNally’s Transportation Data Management subsidiary and Integrated Decision Support Corp. (ISDC).
Created for smaller fleets, the service uses IntelliRoute software to optimize over-the-road fueling based on the origin and destination of any trip. The new service also supports third-party fuel networks, choosing routes based on approved carrier fueling locations.
