Ryder appoints two managers to Canada posts

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. (Mar. 3, 2005) — Ryder System Inc. has named Michael Senaratna to vice-president of supply chain solutions and Doug Hill to vice- president of operations, fleet management solutions for Ryder Canada.

Both positions will report to General Manager and Vice-President of Ryder Canada, Pete Dalmazzi.

Senaratna will lead Ryder Canada’s supply chain solutions business, which provides customers with distribution management, dedicated contract carriage and transportation management solutions. Prior to joining Ryder, Senaratna held senior positions at TNT in global account management, acquisitions and general management.

Hill will be responsible for Ryder Canada’s fleet management solutions business, which provides full service leasing, commercial rental, maintenance and support services. Hill has been with Ryder since 1997 and most recently he led Ryder’s Ontario business as vice-president of operations.
