LUXEMBOURG — SAF-Holland has been recalling workers and hiring new employees both overseas and in North America, as the transport industry continues its recovery.

The manufacturer announced it has hired 83 new industrial employees at its European plants and it has already added more than 100 production workers in North America since the beginning of the year.

“We are receiving an increasing number of orders and additional production shifts are needed. We are pleased to announce that we have been able to re-hire some of the employees laid off in 2009,” said Steffen Schewerda, member of the executive board and responsible for SAF-Holland’s production worldwide.
