Safety audio conference

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — The Truckload Carriers Association is sponsoring an audio conference on Implementing a Safety Management System, on Jan. 14 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The seminar will cover such topics as, how to select a safe driver, how to get ‘buy in’ from the entire organization, how to manage and monitor a driver, how to use accident data to build training programs and how to partner with equipment suppliers to develop preventive maintenance programs.

The audio conference is a convenient and cost-effective way to bring many people together at once to learn from the guest speakers.

Speakers include William Kalbhenn, manager of safety and HR for MacKinnon Transport; Randy Cornell, vice-president of safety for Contract Freighters; Joe Simons, director of safety and recruiting for Marten Transport; and Bill Wiese, director of safety for Raven Transport.
