LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The popular country group Sawyer Brown headlines the 17th annual Trucker Appreciation Concert April 1, at the 2005 Mid-America Trucking Show.

Kenworth Truck Company will sponsor the show again this year and will also show the latest Sawyer Brown music videos at their booth during the show.

"Thousands of truckers will once again fill Freedom Hall for the annual Kenworth concert, which serves to express Kenworth’s appreciation for their hard work and dedication to their profession throughout the year. We look forward to treating the trucking community to a great night of musical entertainment with Sawyer Brown," said Steve Gilligan, Kenworth’s general marketing manager.

Sawyer Brown recently debuted a new album featuring the song Mission Temple Fireworks Stand, which made Billboard’s Country Singles Chart, and appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" in December. The award-winning band has had numerous hits during the past 20 years.

Amy Dalley, who has a popular new single I Would Cry, is scheduled to open for Sawyer Brown. The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Cente at the Mid-America Trucking Show.

Complimentary Sawyer Brown concert tickets will be available to CDL holders only (limit of two tickets per person). Tickets, while supplies last, will be distributed in the South Hall Lobby Booth #2 on both March 31, starting at 1 p.m., and again on April 1, starting at 10 a.m.
