Saying goodbye to a friend

SURREY, BC – Today the British Columbia trucking family will say goodbye to one of their own.

Long-time friend and pillar of the community Kenneth John Tanner, 65, branch manager of the SAF-Holland Surrey, B.C. facility and sales representative for Western Canada and Alaska, passed away suddenly Oct. 15.

A well-known face, Ken will be dearly missed by all who knew him, including his wife Laurie, brother Wes and sister Glenys as well as many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father John and mother Edith.

Funeral services are being held this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. pacific time at Henderson’s Langley Funeral Home, off the Fraser Highway in Langley B.C. The family will also be holding interment services at Woodlands Anglican Cemetery in Woodlands, Manitoba on Nov. 12.
